1. Purpose of the Policy

 

This Usage Policy outlines the acceptable and expected behaviour of all users on the ClickPin platform. It applies to anyone using the app to either request services or fulfill requests. The goal is to ensure a secure, respectful, and efficient experience for everyone involved.

 

2. User Conduct

 

All users agree to:

• Use the platform lawfully and in good faith
• Communicate respectfully and professionally
• Never harass, abuse, intimidate, or threaten other users
• Honour agreed bookings, prices, and terms
• Provide accurate and truthful personal and service information
• Avoid using false identities or fraudulent profiles
• Treat service providers and clients with dignity and respect
• Not use the app to solicit or promote unrelated services or external platforms

 

3. Service Requesters (Clients) Must:

 

• Submit only genuine service requests
• Be present or reachable at the agreed location and time
• Provide safe, appropriate environments for services to be rendered
• Pay the agreed amount promptly and fairly
• Rate service providers honestly and constructively
• Report any safety or quality concerns to ClickPin immediately.

 

 

3. Service Providers Must:

 

• Respond to requests in a timely manner
• Arrive at the agreed time and location
• Perform services with skill, care, and professionalism
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and customer courtesy
• Respect client property and privacy
• Only perform services they are qualified and capable of delivering
• Not cancel jobs without reasonable notice or cause

 

5. Prohibited Activities

 

ClickPin users may not:

• Engage in illegal activities through the platform
• Use the app to scam or deceive other users
• Upload or share offensive, explicit, or harmful content
• Misuse another person’s account or identity
• Attempt to hack, interfere with, or reverse-engineer the app’s code or systems
• Circumvent ClickPin’s booking system to avoid fees or platform use

6. Safety & Privacy

 

• Users must respect the privacy of others and comply with POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act)
• Personal data shared through the app must be used only for booking and completing services
• Sharing of user information outside the platform is strictly prohibited

7. Fees & Payments

 

• Clients agree to pay for services requested as agreed
• Service providers agree to accept the fee set during the booking
• All users accept any relevant platform fees (e.g. subscription or request fee)
• ClickPin may facilitate payment processing and enforce fee collection where necessary

 

8. Fees & Payments

 

ClickPin reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that:

 

• Violates this policy
• Receives repeated reports of misconduct
• Engages in fraud, abuse, or criminal activity
• Damages the reputation or safety of the ClickPin platform

 

 

9. Limitation of Liability

ClickPin is a facilitator of connections and is not responsible for:

 

• The quality of services provided
• Payments between parties (unless managed directly by ClickPin)
• Any harm, loss, or damages resulting from interactions between users

10. Updates to the Policy

 

This policy may be updated at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via the app or email. Continued use of the platform implies agreement to the latest version

Dear Client

1. Account Activation

 

• Once you complete registration and submit all required information, your account will be reviewed by the ClickPIN team.
• Service Providers may need to provide supporting documents (ID, certifications, or business registration) before activation.
• Accounts are activated within 24–72 hours after verification.
• You will receive a confirmation email or SMS once your account is active and ready for use.

2. Account Deactivation / Suspension

 

ClickPIN reserves the right to deactivate or suspend accounts if:

• False or misleading information is provided.
• The Service Provider or Client engages in fraud, abuse, or misconduct.
• Subscription fees are not paid (for Service Providers).
• Repeated violation of ClickPIN’s Usage Policy or Terms & Conditions.

3. Account Deletion (User Request)

 

• Users (Clients or Service Providers) may request account deletion at any time via the app or by contacting support@clickpin.co.za.
• Upon request, all personal data will be deleted in line with POPIA and Privacy Policy guidelines, except where retention is legally required.
• Once deleted, your account cannot be reactivated. You must create a new account to use ClickPIN again.

4. Data Retention

• Limited transaction and service history may be retained for compliance, auditing, and fraud-prevention purposes.
• All other personal details are permanently deleted from ClickPIN’s database once the account is removed.

1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the ClickPIN platform, including the mobile application and website. By accessing or using ClickPIN, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

2. Platform Role ClickPIN acts as a digital marketplace connecting clients with independent Service Providers. ClickPIN does not provide the services directly and is not responsible for the execution, quality, or outcome of services rendered.

 

3. User Accounts Users must provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

 

4. Service Providers All Service Providers operate independently. Any agreement entered into is strictly between the client and the Service Provider.

 

5. Fees & Payments ClickPIN may charge subscription fees, service fees, or transaction fees as communicated on the platform. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law.

 

6. Bookings & Cancellations Booking availability, cancellations, and refunds are subject to individual Service Provider policies displayed on the platform.

 

7. Liability Disclaimer ClickPIN shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from services performed at a client’s premises or elsewhere.

 

8. Emergency Services ClickPIN does not replace official emergency services. In life-threatening situations, users must contact local emergency authorities immediately.

 

9. Intellectual Property All content, branding, and intellectual property on the platform remain the property of ClickPIN unless otherwise stated.

 

10. Data Protection Personal information is processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and the ClickPIN Privacy Policy.

 

11. Termination ClickPIN reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

 

12. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
